- Four Cell Biology faculty members recipients of Hopkins-AHN cancer research grants
The Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center-Allegheny Health Network annually awards ten grants to Johns Hopkins researchers focused on cancer studies. Four of the ten $200,000 grants were awarded to Cell Biology faculty members, Takanari Inoue, Peter Espenshade, Hiromi Sesaki and Miho Iijima for projects embodying really creative and original approaches to basic cancer research. Siew Cheng Phua awarded the Harold Weintraub Graduate Student Award Siew Cheng received this prestigious award for her work in the Inoue lab. The Harold M.
